Charly brings meticulous attention to detail and creative problem-solving to every project, whether she’s working on community hubs, residential homes, or early learning centres.

She enjoys resolving conceptual architectural design through the reality of construction, all the while exploring the integration of a Country-centred approach.

Her self-motivation and collaborative spirit make her a natural fit for SCA’s relaxed office culture. She loves the shared passion to create great places and believes that the relaxed office vibe lends itself to a happy team who then produce beautiful work.

As co-leader of SCA’s Reconciliation Action Plan group, Charly is helping guide the practice toward more meaningful relationships with First Nations communities and Country-centred design principles. This work reflects her broader commitment to architecture that honours place and people in equal measure.

When she’s not immersed in design work, Charly prioritises good food (and wine), and having grown up at the beach, she’s happiest in or on the water. She still remembers the profound impact of experiencing Grundtvig’s Church in Copenhagen – one of those rare buildings that truly takes your breath away and reminds you the impact architecture has on our world.
