He assists through all project phases with the goal to create architecture that enriches the user experience; complementing and elevating daily life. He is persistent and dedicated in his work with an attention to detail.
He brings a natural curiosity and a diverse set of skills to his work with SCA having pursued opportunities in landscape architecture, Indigenous methodologies and ideologies, exhibition design/curation, peer mentoring and global studios.
At SCA he contributed to the recently completed Stanmore House and Ewen Park Outdoor Learning Centre (shortlisted AIA NSW Small Project Architecture), and currently assists on Easts Rugby Club Change Rooms, and several residential renovations Sydney’s eastern suburbs. He is RAP Co-chair, loves the office culture and diversity of project typologies.
For Jarrod, Eames House – constructed entirely from off-the-shelf products – is living proof that great architecture can be accessible to all. He draws design inspiration from observing public behaviour and visiting historical places – often with his dotted notebook and felt tip pen in hand. He enjoys gardening and creek rehabilitation.
Jarrod was awarded the Student Leadership Award for his Masters of Design in Architecture at UTS, where he is now a guest critic.
