Jarrod Ruchalski

Jarrod has a design-led approach that he applies across public, single and multi-residential projects.

He aims to create architecture that enriches the user experience, complementing and elevating daily life. He is persistent and dedicated in his work with a strong attention to detail.

He brings a diverse set of skills from his prior experience in landscape architecture, Indigenous methodologies and ideologies, exhibition design/curation, peer mentoring and global studios

At SCA he assisted on Stanmore House, Ewen Park Outdoor Learning Centre (shortlisted AIA NSW Small Project Architecture), Easts Rugby Club, and several residential renovations. He is RAP Co-chair, loves the office culture and diversity of project typologies.

For Jarrod, Eames House – constructed entirely from off-the-shelf products – is living proof that great architecture can be accessible to all. He draws design inspiration from observing public behaviour and visiting historical places.

He received a Student Leadership Award at UTS, where he is now a guest critic.
