Ruby contributes to design development at SCA through drawings, research and presentation material, and enjoys physical making - drawing and sketching.
The interstitial junctions found between nature and the built environment, and First Nations Connection to Country, interest her.
She enjoys the passion for projects and collaborative sharing of ideas at SCA. At university she received a travelling scholarship to study Architectural History in Rome and a Vice Chancellor’s Global Mobility Scholarship to study in the Netherlands.
Ruby loves Renzo Piano’s Parco della Musica Auditorium in Rome for its shared community around music and creativity, and sense of movement. Music pods embedded into the ground create connectedness.
Design inspiration comes from nature experienced on hikes and walks. She loves trying out new baking recipes and going to live music gigs.
