Three of our projects — Clovelly House, Waverley House and Kurraba Point House — appear in Grand Designs Australia's special feature on how the modern home adapts to work, rest and play (Issue 146).
Director Sam Crawford spoke to the magazine about designing flexible, light-filled spaces that evolve with how families actually use their homes — from the sun-filled loft at Clovelly House that doubles as a study or guest space, to the purpose-built parents' retreat study at Waverley House, to the reimagined garage-turned-teen-retreat at Kurraba Point House. "As Australia has become more affluent and technology has entered our homes, rumpus rooms have evolved into media rooms and second living rooms where not just kids, but also adults happily entertain guests," Sam told the magazine.
